Gods of Bali, the young Arjuna?

Imagine driving to your local intersection and having this monument in the roundabout…what I loved about Bali is so much time is spent in prayer, or preparing for prayer. You could say the national pastime is prayer. Every home or garden had at least one small (or large) stupa, and on every roadside women preparing small offerings, woven palm leaves with a flower or two, a few grains of rice and small fruits offered with incense. Needless to say the feel of the place is very different from those where the national pastime is say, shopping, or eating…how grateful I am to have been to a place like this in my lifetime.
